Ever since the decline of television, streaming services have been rising. By far, Netflix is the most popular paid TV streaming service in Singapore, but it isn’t the only one. As a self-proclaimed film/movie connoisseur like myself, I’ve decided to write about streaming services and my personal recommendations.
Starting from the biggest giant on the list, Netflix boasts a huge and constantly changing libraries of movies and series to meet with consumer demands.
Netflix also produces original films that have received a good number of positive reviews. Creating movies unique to their own platform helps create original content that is different from the mass market produced films by other film companies. This helps Netflix stand out while ensuring loyalty for their subscription services with good shows.
In terms of cost, Netflix is on slightly on the pricey side with their Basic 480p package starting at $12.98 SGD. For quality viewing, we would recommend getting at least the 1080p Standard package. Netflix is still very popular in Singapore and here is a list of Netflix shows I highly recommend!
