Mid-autumn festival will soon be upon us and it is the time to spend our calories on some delicious mooncakes. The flavour variations of mooncakes have changed throughout the years as more innovative flavours are introduced into mooncakes. Paradise is back at it again with their Gems of the Full Moon line-up, with the Fruity Liqueur Snow Skin mooncakes ($65 per box of 8 pieces). Adding to the flavour line up this year is the new White Peach with Prosecco and the Cherry with Martell Noblige.
The mooncakes also come in an exquisite keepsake box that includes elements reminiscent to mid-autumn festival. It also incorporates a unique 3D decoupage design that makes the box just so much more memorable.

3. Royal Durian
Another fan favourite during the mooncake season is the DURIAN MOONCAKE! So it comes as no surprise that durian snow skin mooncake would make this list. Royal Durian will be launching their 100% Pure Mao Shan Wang Durian Snow Skin Mooncake.
Each snow skin mooncake is made with 100% pure Mao Shan Wang flesh, from Pahang, that is said to be peeled by hand. To complement the taste of the durian, Royal Durian has partnered with a 5-star hotel chain to produce high-quality mooncakes to ensure smooth and delicious quality. The Capitol Kempinski Hotel has launched exquisite and delicate bite-sized mooncakes for mid-autumn this year. Their mooncake collection includes several traditional baked and snow skin varieties, but we are just focusing on the snow skin ones here for now.
Equal amount of effort and thought has also gone into the creation of the keep sake box. The Capitol Kempinski mooncakes are presented in a stunning multi-functional wooden jewellery box. Also included is last year’s iconic crimson red colour, representing Kempinski’s iconic Lady in Red.
