The Paradise Group is home to some all-time favourite Chinese restaurants in Singapore, from upmarket restaurants to casual chains. Their list of restaurants include Taste Paradise, Paradise Teochew, Seafood Paradise, Paradise Dynasty, Canton Paradise, Paradise Classic, Paradise Hotpot, LeNu and Le Shrimp Ramen.
To celebrate National Day, these restaurants are offering limited-time only dishes inspired by Singaporean flavours. Enjoy a variety of dishes from nostalgic classics to creative reinterpretations, as an ode to Singapore’s food heritage and innovative spirit.
These dishes are available from 25 July to 31 August 2022, available for both dine-in and takeaway. What’s more, you may be eligible to enjoy 20% off these National Day dishes (more on the promotion later)!
Here’s the celebratory lineup of dishes from each of the Paradise Group restaurants.
Taste Paradise
Taste Paradise offers fine Cantonese cuisine, serving innovative dim sum and roast fare in a calm and modern dining atmosphere.
Indulge in a Stir-fried Rice Noodle with “La La” in XO Sauce ($32.80), which features stir-fried flat rice noodles full of wok hei and tossed with fresh clams. The XO sauce gives an added umami punch that can’t be missed!
The Fish Maw in Bak Kut Teh Broth served in Japanese Stone Pot ($49.80) sees the famous delicacy soaked in a peppery bak kut teh broth. Full of flavour, the Japanese stone pot also ensures this dish remains hot throughout the meal!
Paradise Teochew
Paradise Teochew offers over a hundred Teochew-style signatures and dim sum offerings that embody the heart of Teochew cuisine: natural flavours, light seasonings and fresh ingredients.
The Diced Seafood wrapped with Egg White Crêpe in Laksa Broth ($17.80) is a unique dish featuring prawn, scallop and crab meat wrapped in a silky crepe. The dish is elevated by the laksa broth’s bright, spicy flavours.
A classic medley of flavours Singaporeans are sure to be familiar with, the Beef Mixed Offal in Bak Kut Teh Broth in Casserole ($48.80) has beef tripe, brisket and tendon in a delicately perfumed bak kut teh broth.
Seafood Paradise
Seafood Paradise at VivoCity serves quality seafood dishes at unbeatable prices with an unbeatable view of the bay, making it ideal for anything from business lunches to family gatherings and romantic dates.
Featuring a creative combination of crunchy kang kong, chewy cuttlefish and luxurious satay sauce, the Kang Kong with Cuttlefish in Satay Sauce ($17.80) presents a unique mix of contrasting textures tied together with the deep, nutty flavours of satay!
The Singapore Style Wok-fried Hokkien Mee with Seafood ($18.80) is a familiar Singaporean dish, elevated by the use of a prawn broth that has been simmered for four hours, and the luxurious use of clams, prawn and squid.
Paradise Dynasty
Paradise Dynasty wows diners with its opulence and majesty, serving northern and southern Chinese cuisine in a setting that captures the bygone eras of Imperial China in a contemporary fashion.
Paradise Dynasty is known for their unique xiao long bao flavours, and a seasonal offering has joined their rotation—the Laksa Xiao Long Bao (5pc) ($9.80)! Enjoy their famous hand-pleated dumplings, now filled with pork imbued with a tangy and spicy laksa broth.
The Wok-fried Rice Cake with Crab Meat in Chilli Crab Sauce ($15.80) serves exactly what it promises—chewy rice cakes drenched in an aromatic spicy sauce that’s filled with chunks of crab meat.
Canton Paradise
Canton Paradise’s vibrant and chic interior welcomes all diners—watch the chefs through the open kitchen as they prepare classic Cantonese dishes, roasted meats and other dim sum delights.
The classic beef hor fun sees a twist in the Wok-fried Hor Fun with Sliced Beef in Satay Sauce ($16.80), throwing in some nutty, sweet satay sauce into the mix.
We’ve seen many types of fillings in curry puffs over the years, and Canton Paradise has brought another version into the mix with their Crispy Chilli Crab Pastry ($7.80). Enjoy Singapore’s famous chilli crab encased in a flaky pastry!
Paradise Classic
Reminisce around a table of nostalgic flavours at Paradise Classic, which serves modern remakes of well-loved local classics at affordable prices.
The Stir-fried Crystal Prawn in Singapore Chilli Sauce ($23.90) has big, crunchy prawns coated in a fiery chilli sauce that goes perfectly with seafood.
Feeling under the weather? Take a sip of the Double-boiled Pork Rib and Chicken in Bak Kut Teh Soup ($26.90), which has been simmered for three hours to create a nourishing broth and tender meat that slides right off the bone!
Paradise Hotpot
Paradise Hotpot is a modern and trendy Hong Kong-style steamboat concept that offers an exclusive experience—expect your own personal hotpot in a luxurious gold metal pot, and cook premium ingredients in any broth you desire!
Paradise Hotpot is offering a limited Laksa Soup Base ($9.20) for diners this National Day season! Indulge in a spicy fragrant soup with a punchy and bright flavour profile.
LeNu
LeNu is a casual Chinese noodle bar that delights all diners with their hearty and rich signature braised beef broth, all at an affordable price.
The LeNu Beef “Bak Chor Mee” (Spicy/Non-spicy) ($11.90) is an indulgent version of the all-time favourite local dish, being served with sliced beef and mushroom for that extra oomph.
Le Shrimp Ramen
Le Shrimp Ramen seamlessly marries Chinese and Japanese culinary influences to become the very first restaurant in Singapore to offer Chinese la mian in a specialty shrimp broth.
The Big Prawn with Thick Vermicelli in Laksa Shrimp Broth ($18.90) has a rich laksa shrimp broth filled with juicy prawns, thick vermicelli and flavour-soaked tau pok!
